I’m back from Guangzhou and Hong Kong and it’s coooold. Really cold.
The decision to buy this grey coat was a good decision as it’s a basic piece for everyones closet….

I was looking for a grey wool coat for ages as I had a very clear idea how it should look like:

– grey, but a soft grey
– 100% wool
– not too long, not too short
– a little bit oversized
– a bit of structure
– elegant and casual at the same time, so that I could dress it up or down

Do you understand my challenge right now? I know, I know I thought I will never find one. All the brands from Max Mara to Hugo Boss to Chloe didn’t have something close to it. Either I did not like the color or I did not like the cut. I’m very small and it’s quite hard to find the perfect length.

One evening I was browsing though the internet when I came across this coat. It immediately caught my eye and when something immediately catches my eye I need to have it.
I could tick off all the boxes mentioned above… but the only problem was it was sold out on Zalando.
So back to my favorite leisure activity: hunting down something on the internet. This time is was not too difficult,  I found it here: www.impressionen.com. It even was on sale.
Two days later it was delivered and again love at first sight.

I love everything about it…
