Snooowwwyyyy…..

001a

I like snow, yes I really do! Not only because the mountains are calling with powder snow (hopefully)… but also because I like the looking at snow settled outside looks even more beautiful, it makes the normally mundane looking country side and lawn look even more pleasing and picturesque when it has a thick white blanket covering it….

Watching snow fall is beautiful and watching at all those cozy coats, sweaters, cashmere scarfs and boots as well. I love the layering look for winter and cold days. Snow came early this year, so I was happy to take out my beloved Max Mara coat which I got last year before I went to New York. It’s warm, cozy, elegant, stylish and timeless at the same time. A piece that will never go out of fashion and which is worth the investment.
Booties, more precisely velvet booties are the hype of the season as we have all learned by now. First I thought: “Let this chalice pass me by!”. But this didn’t happen and before I knew it, the shoes were in my shopping bag. I don’t know how they ended up there… but well it’s okay šŸ™‚

Oh just another reason, why I like snow came up to my mind: growing up as a kid I used to always wish for snow because it was about making snowmen, having snow fights and sledging…. time to be a kid again.

So stay all warm in your winter clothes and let’s hope for a white Christmas.

Thank you Julia Ā (lux us fotografie) for capturing these pictures in the snow, even if it was freezing.

XOXO
Sonja
